Kindly Beast is an indie game studio located in Ottawa, Ontario. We created the Bendy™ franchise and the popular game Bendy and The Ink Machine™, and are now excited to be working on game projects such as, Bendy and the Dark Revival, Bendy in Nightmare Run, and Showdown Bandit across PC, mobile, and console. Community Manager

We’re looking for a talented Community Manager to help our teams communicate with our fans. You’ll work closely with our brand and marketing teams to be an outward identity for the studio. You’ll be the hub of all communication with our fans and handle all day-to-day interactions including on forums and in-person events in addition to creating content for our various social media channels.

We’re looking specifically for Canadian applicants to work in our Ottawa, Canada office.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Socialize and foster a relationship with our fans and the influencers that promote our brands

  • Ensure that our fans feel listened to and are informed of the development process

  • Collaborate closely with the production team during the different phases of development (alpha, beta, launch, etc…)

  • Reach out to new people and work to expand the community

  • Involve the members of the production team in community communication

  • Create content and assets that can be shared with the community

  • Collaborate with marketing and brand team to build a community management plan

Requirements:

  • Marketing or community management experience or degree

  • Passionate about our games and our brands

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Special Consideration Given to:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience

  • Graphic design skills

  • Video editing skills
