We are hiring Visual UI Designer positions for the following projects:

Visual UI Designer
We’re looking for a UI designer to help our teams create new games and experiences that capture the imaginations of our fans. You’ll need to be able to create interfaces that are intuitive to use, aesthetically pleasing, and on brand for each of our varied games. You’ll be asked to interpret the GDD (Game Design Documents) and help translate technical and story requirements into menus, buttons, and HUDs. Some UX experience is required, as you’ll need to create wireframes for sign-off from the Art Director, Project Leads, and developers. A strong gaming background is an asset as we’ll regularly reference best-of-breed titles.
We’re looking specifically for Canadian applicants to work in our Ottawa, Canada office.
Please include a portfolio with relevant work, clearly indicating work created by you.
Work with art directors, producers, and our 3D team to ensure successful and frictionless integration of assets into games.
Understand requirements as outlined in a projects GDD and translate over to actionable screens
Work with developers to ensure all created assets adhere to technical requirements
Create high fidelity, AAA looking assets
Animate screens, menus, HUD elements, etc. building in/out
Optimize your work to meet technical constraints.
Adjust your work based off feedback from art directors, project owners, and considerations from 3D and development teams
Have a technical understanding of interface processes (creating 9 sliced or tileable assets, texture atlases, reusable pieces, etc.)
Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
Fundamental UX capabilities for wireframing/flows
Be able to create high fidelity interfaces and provide rationale for decisions
Ability to adapt to different design styles
Ability to produce development ready artwork considering different platform requirements (console, PC, mobile)
Special Consideration Given to:
AGILE and Scrum experience
Shipped titles (indie or AAA)
UX design and software experience (Balsamiq, Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch)
